Hero debuted a unique edition of the Karizma XMR during the Hero World event. This special edition celebrates the 100th birthday of Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal, the founder of Hero Motocorp, in conjunction with the introduction of the Xtreme 125R and the Mavrick 440. The CE001 will only be made in 100 pieces, and sales will start in July.

The quarter-fairing design of the CE001 is a nod to the original Karizma. Made mostly of carbon fibre, the bike keeps its handlebar design rather than using clip-ons like the XMR. Dr. Brijmohan’s picture is displayed boldly on a gasoline tank insignia, and the quality appearance of the vehicle is further enhanced with billet-machined parts such as the swingarm and footpegs.
The CE001 is based on the Karizma XMR and has a 210-cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. Premium components like an Ohlins monoshock, radial front brake calliper, USD fork, and grippy Pirelli tyres round out its high-end features. A 6-speed gearbox controls the shifting, while a hydraulic actuator handles the clutch. The body panels are dominated by carbon fibre, which highlights its uniqueness even further. An Akrapovic exhaust silencer gives the CE001 a more aggressive look.
